From August 28 to September 3, 2026, the legendary Transalpine Run will wind its way right through the Valle di Blenio!
What is the Transalpine Run?
One of Europe's most famous multi-stage trail runs: 243 km, 15,135 meters of elevation gain, 7 stages — from Lenzerheide to Locarno, across the Swiss Alps.

Two stages run through our region:
